A few of us met with the caterers at CityView (erroneously called City Center on previous post – see events page for information) at the Illinois Terminal today. Our Saturday night event will start at 5:30 p.m. for social hour, with buffet dinner around 7 pm. Followed by a pub crawl in downtown Champaign. The U of I vs. Toledo game is at 6:30 pm. so we won’t be able to do a tailgate. With that said, the bars may be crazy after dinner but we will have fun!! And we will have a map of downtown bars and give them a heads-up that our classes of ’73 and ’74 will be abundant.

Friday night at Riggs Beer Company will be very casual but fun! We need to start getting a count of attendees. We’re working on the best way to get rsvp’s. More to come soon. The total cost for the dinner, room rental and a few extras is going to be around $40 per person! Trust the committee that the CityView will do a great job. We will post the link to PayPal very soon.

Still working on a Centennial tour! Those who haven’t been to C-U in awhile will be amazed! And you’ll be amazed at the U of I campus! We have a skyline!
